What a phenomenal aesthetician!!

When I first started seeing Carole my face was filled with acne scars and cystic acne. After the first time of being a victim under her hands, I loved to hate her! Carole transformed my face from bad teen years to someone who looked like they never had acne problems. I DON’T NEED FOUNDATION ANYMORE!!!

Under her direction, she helped me transform my face. I am indebted to her because she helped me feel beautiful. At the end of the day, we want to be beautiful and look youthful. I have struggled with my acne for years and years. I have tried every single acne medication there is (no exaggeration) and nothing has significantly helped my acne. I was recommended to SLR by an acquaintance with a similar story to mine who found amazing results there so I decided to give it a try. I’m very happy I did. I’ve seen Carole and Katharine for facials and both are amazing at what they do. The team specializes in extractions and it’s what gets the job done. Between my facials my skin is clear and I couldn’t be happier. They have a great selection of products and are very knowledgeable and about what works with which skin type. My last visit was a day after they opened in their new location, and what an improvement. The space is comfortable, chic, and fully equipped. My only suggestion is that they could use an extra person at reception as it’s a lot to handle for one person. Definitely give this place a try.

I went in for a mini facial, and there was nothing mini about my appointment! Carole made me feel extremely comfortable, and was very informative. It’s been about a month since my last post. I must say that I am so in love with my face. I have battled about 4 years of acne and acne scarring. Not only was it bad, but it was getting worse. I hated facing the public and especially dating. Carole and her team at Skin Laser Rejuvenation took 4 years worth of horror away in just ONE MONTH. Family, friends, and co-workers MARVEL at the results. I am practically flawless. From day one I noticed HUGE results. When I went to my 1st follow up, Carole showed me my before pictures. We were introduced by a good friend who gave Carole rave reviews. She then personally spoke to me with kind reassurance that she could definitely help me. If you’re African American and have problematic skin, this is the place to go. Carole will have you looking amazing within a few visits. She unclogs every pore possible, and you will walk out the door amazed at the results. She explains everything shes doing in detail, not overly pushy trying to sell products, and has a large personality! I’m a bit addicted!!

She has an uncanny ability to make all her clients feel very comfortable and at ease. If you are looking for a fluff facial this is not the place for you. I was very skeptical about having just anyone touch my face because as African American, my skin is prone to scaring and after trying a few other well-known spas I thought “If I wanted someone to rub hot cream on my face I could do that at home.” I was very disappointed to say the least!… But after meeting Carole 5 years ago, clear, healthy, radiant and flawless skin is what I got after just one treatment. After trying all kinds of treatments in the 15 years living in New York, this is by far and away the best skin spa I’ve found. It’s small and discrete, customers get plenty of attention, and you can be in and out within a half hour. The prices are the best I’ve seen and from what I’ve calculated, she’s actually adding several treatments for the price of one. Carol is kind and knowledgeable and I truly appreciated her thorough check of my current medications. She would refuse someone treatment if it meant hurting them and that says a lot for spas these days. I highly recommend this place to all my friends. The only issue I have with writing this is that I’m afraid it will get too busy! Oh and they sell all of my favorite skin care products, which is an added bonus since I like to give friends gift cards along with a product or two. Cheers!

I’ve been seeing Carole Burns for the past two months and I just can’t stop raving about her! Everytime I go to her office I get treated like a VIP, and you never know what fashion A list you will be sitting next to you her waiting area. I often compete with Margarita Missoni to get time in with Carole (I love you Margarita, but you know its true!). When you go to SLR you go there for results and results is what she gives you. Her product line is top of the line medical grade and it ranges from Obagi, to Skinceuticals which I love! She’ll also be one of the few carrying the PEAU line (I can’t wait). There’s a reason why Missoni, and Betsy Johnson go to her…She’s the best!
